On January 1, 2025, the project \u201cSmart collaborative workflow development in the footwear industry - MELLOW<\/strong>\u201d was officially launched.<\/p>\n

The project aims to encourage collaboration within value creation networks in the footwear industry and to improve work, process and product quality in international production networks. By developing and implementing a digital assistance system, the project seeks to support and facilitate manual tasks in footwear production. <\/p>\n

To mark the start of the project, a consortium meeting was held at Persona \u2013 right in the heart of Portugal! The visit included a tour of the production facility, where an AI-based assistance system will be implemented over the course of the project. Initial interviews were conducted to further specify the use case. We are excited about the collaboration ahead!<\/p>\n<\/div>
