On December 3, 2025, Portuguese workers visited to test the first MELLOW prototype. The aim of the assistance system is to support workers during the outsole marking process prior to further refinement, helping to prevent errors and improve overall product quality. The feedback collected during the testing phase with our associated Portuguese partners proved valuable for future improvements and confirmed that the project is on the right track. Looking ahead, the consortium plans to deploy and test the prototype in the Portuguese shoe factory in 2026.
